Two femtosecond laser based STED nanoscopy and multimodality bioimaging system in the Micro/Nanofluidics Lab at the University of South Carolina.

Welcome to Microfluidics and Bioimaging Lab at UofSC

The Microfluidics and Bioimaging Lab at the University of South Crolina pursue fundamental and applied research in multidisciplinary fields, including lab-on-a-chip based on nano/microfluidics; electrokinetics, far field, two tunable femto-lasers based optical nanoscopic system for in situ, 3D nanoscale measurement, super resolution cellular imaging of live cell and nanofabrication; early cancer and clinical diagnostics, detection of chemical/biological agents, biomedical devices; (bio)fluid dynamics, turbulence, mixing and etc. The lab is directed by Dr. Guiren Wang in Biomedical Engineering Program and the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
